According to a report from LimitAnd the Constantine It is one of HBO Max’s projects “On Solid Ground and Moving Along”. No additional details were provided, either about what “Move Along” is involved or the series itself, but it does seem like some good news in the aftermath of what has been a spinner of things. The report also mentions Madame X It is still under development.
Constantine Moving forward will be good news for both DC and Abrams fans. Earlier this year, it was reported that Warner Bros. Discover was frustrated by Abrams’ lack of production regarding Bad Robot’s $250 million total deal, and in June it was announced HBO’s death DimondAbrams’s first original television idea since Fring 2008. “Our ambition is to bring Warner back and produce great quality films, and while we look at our opportunities broadly, DC is at the top of the list for us,” Zaslav explained. “You look at Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman – these are the brands that are known everywhere in the world. Being able to lead these around the world with a great story is a huge opportunity for us. We’ve reset. We’ve restructured business. We’ll focus.”
Zaslav then went on to detail how DC Films will reflect the progress Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has made with their competitor.
He added, “There will be a team with a 10-year plan that focuses only on DC. It’s very similar to the structure that Alan Horn and Bob Iger put together very effectively with Kevin Feige at Disney.” “We believe we can build a stronger long-term sustainable growth business out of the capital. As part of that, we will focus on quality. We won’t release any film before it’s ready. We’re not going to release a movie to make a quarter.” We’re not going to release a movie unless the focus is on, ‘How do we generally make each of these movies the best they can be?’ But DC is something we think we can improve on, and we’re focused on it right now. We’ve got some great DC movies coming up – black AdamAnd the ShazamAnd the flash – We’re working on all of those. We are very excited about them.”
